Collect and deliver finished quilts as well as receive local donations
Organize and run local area quilting bee workshop days with volunteers
Work with local media to coordinate ongoing press and media coverage
Submit information to HQ regarding donations and completed quilts

24" x 24" Neonatal Preemie size quilts
36" x 36" Newborn Baby size quilts
45" x 60" Cot or Crib size for younger children
65" x 80" Twin size for older children and teens
80" x 100" Queen size for Parent's beds
fabrics, wadding (batting) and quilt donations
Fabrics must be in child-friendly colours
Generally prefer either cotton prints or flannels
Wadding must be new either large pieces or scraps
Blankets must be newly hand-made and 100% machine washable
Quilts must be free of all pins, animal air, smoke for health reasons
don't worry, even if you can't sew, there are lots of ways to help
Send us your quilt tops and we will have them quilted
Attend one of our many workshop days - beginners welcome!
Donate materials for our volunteers to use for quilts
Organize your own local group for a quilt-making day
Donate your machine quilting services to help finish quilts
Each handmade quilt for children costs between $200-$400 to make, including all labour and materials.
Your generous donations of materials, quilts, services or even funds helps each day!
Without our amazing and loving volunteers all across Australia, we would not be able to provide these gorgeous quilts to so many children in need.
